Your data, in plain English

The Goldfinch Agent Cost Grader does not require an account. This page explains exactly what we collect, what we do with it, and what we don't do.

The short version

Your grader inputs are processed in your browser to generate your cost estimate. They are not stored on our servers.
Your email is collected only when you choose to unlock your action plan. We use it to send your report. That's it.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not run behavioral ad targeting.
You can request deletion of any data we hold about you at any time.

What we collect

Grader inputs
Agent type, task volume range, model selection, caching policy, tool call rate, human review rate, retry configuration, and company name (optional). Used only to calculate your cost estimate. Processed locally in your browser.
Email address
Collected only if you choose to unlock your action plan. Used to send your report. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email we send.
Company name
Optional. Collected at the point of email capture. Used to personalize your report. Never shared with third parties.
ARE risk level and SLC score
Stored alongside your email in our internal lead database (Airtable) to help us understand aggregate usage patterns. Not shared externally.
Basic analytics
Page visits, grader completion rate, and share-link usage — aggregated and anonymized. We do not use Google Analytics or other third-party behavioral tracking platforms.

What we do not collect

We do not collect financial data, proprietary cost figures, internal budget numbers, API keys, or any other sensitive business information. The grader inputs are architectural and operational parameters — no proprietary data from your systems is required or requested.

We do not use session recording tools, heatmaps, or behavioral analytics that identify individual users across sessions.

How we use your data

To send your report. If you provide your email, we send your cost estimate, action plan, and share link to that address. This is the primary use.

To improve the grader. Aggregate, anonymized usage data helps us tune benchmarks and scoring models. This data cannot be traced back to an individual.

To contact you about Goldfinch. If you opt in to product updates, we may send infrequent emails about new grader features. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. We do not send daily newsletters or marketing sequences without explicit opt-in.

Third-party services

We use a small number of third-party services. Each handles your data only as described:

Airtable
Stores email addresses and associated grader metadata (ARE level, SLC score, company name) for lead management. Governed by Airtable's privacy policy. Data is held in Airtable's US infrastructure.
Resend
Used to deliver your report email. Your address is passed to Resend for the purpose of sending that email only. We do not license email lists to or from any provider.

We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Ads tracking, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any advertising-network tracking scripts.

Your rights

Access. You can ask us what data we hold about your email address at any time.

Deletion. You can ask us to delete your email address and all associated data from our systems. We will do so within five business days.

Correction. If your data is incorrect, we will correct it on request.

Portability. You can request a copy of any data we hold in a machine-readable format.

How long we keep your data

Email addresses and associated grader metadata are retained for as long as the contact is active in our database and has not requested deletion.

If you unsubscribe from email communications, we retain your email address in a suppression list only and delete all other associated data within 30 days.

Anonymized, aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely for product analysis.

Security

All data in transit is encrypted over HTTPS. Data at rest is stored in Airtable's standard encrypted infrastructure. We operate with minimal data collection as the primary security posture — the best way to protect data we don't need to have is not to collect it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and note the revision date. We will not make retroactive changes that affect data already collected without notice.
